What is Structural Integration?

Structural Integration is a form of bodywork that uses fascial release techniques and movement education to help clients with pain, postural compensations and movement restrictions.

Structural Integration is a project that has a clear beginning, middle and end for clients. We use visual/ structural assessments to plan an individual strategy for the client.

BodyReading is a big piece of our training. Being able to globally assess the body and understand how the client’s shoulder problem, could be coming from somewhere further down the chain. Perhaps the pelvic tilt (one side higher than the other) or the rib shift (rib cage is off centre) has taken away support for the shoulder, and unless we address the pelvic pattern first, we can’t give the shoulder the support it needs.

We look at movement assessments and gait, looking at how the client’s patterns or restrictions are translating into movement.

Who is ATSI for?

ATSI is for health professionals who want to deepen their understanding of the human body and broaden the way they work with clients.

Through expert guidance from our experienced teaching and administrative team, you’ll embark on a progressive learning journey that refines your touch, develops your clinical reasoning, and transforms the way you perceive movement and structure.

As your relationship with your own body evolves, so too will your ability to recognise patterns of tension, compensation, and support within your clients.

Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, ATSI teaches you to see the body as an interconnected system, equipping you with the skills to create meaningful, lasting structural change.

ATSI PREREQUISITE

21 HOURS OVER 3 DAYS

Anatomy Trains in Structure & Function

Suitable for Manual Therapists and Movement Therapists, this is the first workshop to combine Anatomy Trains theory alongside structural and functional anatomy and analysis – blending together the concepts of tensegrity with elastic recoil for movement efficiency.

In this new and expanded 21-hour workshop format you will learn about the myofascial tissue and its many roles in the body. You will begin to appreciate how the body incorporates the Anatomy Train Lines to create easy and graceful movement – provided they are in some form of balance and harmony; restriction or weakness in one section can have many knock-on effects elsewhere.

ATSI
PART ONE

6 MODULES OVER 13 DAYS

Structural Essentials

Structural Essentials is the beginning of your ATSI Structural Integration journey and will be a mixture of manual techniques, theory and body reading.

Part 1 of the ATSI Program consists of 6 Structural Essentials which can be taken as individual workshops spread over 6 months, or an intensive program delivered in 13 days.

While these modules are part of the ATSI training, they can also be taken as stand alone modules if you want to further your anatomy knowledge and gain new techniques.

ATSI
PART TWO

3 MODULE INTENSIVE OVER 10 DAYS

Structural Strategies

Integrate the information you have learned in the previous workshops and enjoy the powerful package of our unique 3-session series.

During this in-depth and intensive training you will develop a full-body vision, applying the postural assessments already learned and integrating them into a complete understanding of the relationships throughout the body.

You will be equipped with the functional analysis tools to be able to design and perform the Structural Bodywork series, which can produce powerful and lasting changes for your clients.
